The colour charcoal

Greys are still all the rage in the décor world and we were inspired by vintage chalkboards that after years of work turn a powdery charcoal colour.

Charcoal is such a nice deep variety of grey that really works well when black’s too harsh.

The word falls nicely on the ear in winter and reminds us of fire places, overcast weather, art work done in charcoal, stately grey suits and even river pebbles.

We have found some great pictures that just had to be shared.

D&M made with love

BIG news ... Derick and I have started our own side project called D&M made with love. I do the designing and marketing and he heads up production.

It is so much fun conceptualising new ideas with him and seeing how it all comes together.

We have done our first round of product testing and the shoot over the weekend and can now get rolling with it.
